Discussion
I am getting my car resprayed and have narrowed the colour down to two choices - trouble is it's a rare car and only came in one colour so there are no 'done' ones to look at (people do have them painted, but nobody had done one the colour/s I am thinking of).
Would somebody perhaps be able to do a quick mock up of my car in the possible colours? Nothing fancy, but enough to give me an idea of what each would look like finished?
I'd be eternally grateful and you might stop me from making a grave error!
Thanks
Max

Thanks Chris - this is my car:
(plenty more pics here which might be better: http://maxf.smugmug.com/gallery/817979)
It is only the grey painted body I am having painted, not the black sills/mudflaps etc.
I am thinking of either Ferrari Grigio Silverstone (gunmetal grey) which is here (two F430 pics, top left): www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/ferrari-western-europe/index.html
It looks similar to my crappy photo, but it is actually much darker and more metallic.
The other choice is Lamborghini pearl yellow here (apologies for the ebay link): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lamborghini-Gallardo-Egr-04-Gallardo-E-Gear-Pearl-Yellow-Blk-AUTH-BENTLEY-DEALER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6290QQitemZ4582213888QQrdZ1
Two very different colours!!!

Balls to resale - when/if I sell it I'll either change it back or paint it whatever colour they like!
I think Gunmetal will look awesome - very mean, but yellow may look more 'special', although also more toy-like. See, I'm torn!
Didn't sinclaires do one in yellow? I think they painted some of the black bits too, which perhaps wasn't to my taste, but it would give you an idea.
I saw a lovely one that had been painted blue.
edit :
ok the sinclaire's one isn't as I remembered :

Not photoshopped yours as it is too low res and also it would take me too long to do at the moment, but I did find this yellow one on Google ![]()
Thanks Mrs F - I think that's Peter Crooks old car, but I haven't seen that pic before. 'My' yellow is lighter and metallic, but that gives me a good idea of what it could look like.
Still leaning towards the Grigio Silverstone...
