I fancy one of these for low level work (cos my knees are shot)

I'm sure it would save a cricked neck, but £83 for a plastic tube with a mirror? Seems a bit steep to me.
Well, £20 for the tube and mirror, and £63 for the 'Nikon' logo
I've since found a Chinese version for a third of the price, and Hank's strap-on monitor looks very nice - has anybody tred one?
Please don't use "Hanks" and "strap-on" in the same sentence - it's only my knees that are shot!!
I'd really like to see one before I buy, a hundred notes is a lot of cash if it's rubbish or has horrible lag etc.
I'd like to use it for kids level shots without crawling round on the floor or for the odd car one from the ground without lying prone.

I have one of these, I find it very usefull although the colours on the screen are a bit washed out and it is slow to refresh as you pan with it. All in all tho, an excellent gadget especially if your behind a lot of peeps and cant get a clear view of a "Celebraty"

I've got one of these:

Simple solution, much cheaper than the Nikon / Canon equiv. Quality is OK.
On my camera you don't use an adaptor. Not sure about this as it means a metal to plastic (on camera) fitting. The fit is a little loose to.
If this is an occasional usage item, then it's good value. If using it all the time I would recommend the 'real' thing from Canon / Nikon etc.
