I've got me a day off tomorrow and seeing as it's autumn, I fancy going somewhere photogenic and snapping away.
I'm based just by the M4 Jct 5 and within range of the M3 and M40, have a fuel(ish) tank of petrol and would be happy to drive for about an hour or so...

So, where can people suggest?

A nice drive would be welcomed as well!! :)

I'd head out past High Wycombe to Fingest where they shoot "The vicar of Dibley", and where "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" was filmed. Great countryside and even better pubs/beer

Martin.

I'd second Virginia Waters.

And after that you could head over to Windsor great park and do 'the mile' ... the war memorial in Runnymede, chobham common, etc, etc .....

You live just up the road from Burnham Beeches, Windor, Maidenhead and Heathrow. There is plenty there to photograph.

Have a look on the National Trust website for stuff in your area - I often do that.

Was there last week. Watch out for the goose mess on the grassy area by the lake - the bit on the middle right of the pciture above. There's lots of it, and I mean LOTS !! Trees will be good though and the boat house is photogenic.

Ended up biking around the Devil's Punch Bowl as they wouldn't let me in anywhere else! I'll post a few of the results and bullet cam stuff over the weekend
