Bit of a rookie with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Can I use my Itunes files (AAC/MPEG-4 format) as audio files with Adobe Premiere ?

I tried using some MP3 with Windows Movie Player, but although they do work within the WMP player, they do not translate within the exported movie (Copyright issue I imagine being Microsoft ?).

I'd like to know, since most of my files are from Itunes,

Thanks !!

Hmmm... I *think* you may have a problem there. Not sure but iTunes encode in a very 'GO AWAY' way, and may not work in Premier.

If I get a minute this evening (good TV for once - Car theft 8 pm) - I'll give it a go, see what happens.

(unless anyone here knows in the meantime)

Burn your iTune to a CD as an audio disc, then re-import the audio track into Premiere from the CD.

Job done.

If you get the Apple Quicktime Pro software (the stuff you have to pay for), they should import ok... (I haven't tried it yet...)

Edited to add: and if they don't import, you can use QT pro to export them into a format that will import...
