Can I have my Clud membership certificate now please? :bounce:
Very impressed so far. So much better for taking photos of the kids than the Nikon Coolpix 5400 (which is for sale if anyone knows of a good home).
The main advantage is the speed of the shots. So good to be back in the world of SLR.
However, not very impressed by the build quality. If feels light and plasticy, and the lens action is not what I'd call 'quality'. A long way behind the ME Super and Om2N that I used to play with.
Anyway, what are your feelings for the best filter / lens protector for general use?

Well done 800 (you're not related to a Speedlight by any chance...?)
Yep, welcome to the 21st C
Once 'robust' was the thing; now it's 'lightweight'. 20 years ago even Vivitar lenses were metal, now even Nikkors are plastic. However, console yourself with the thought that it's the insides that count!
UV, eBay.
