Nikon D50 vs. D70

I'm replacing a digital camera destroyed by sea water. I've been considering either a D50 or D70, to maintain compatibility with my existing F80 and lenses.

I'm struggling to see the difference other than depth of field preview and storage medium.

Is the D70 worth the additional cost ?

D70 has a few things over the D50 that you might not think you would use. nikons home page has a good list of what the difference is as does DP review. I would get teh D70s over the D50

However much Simpo wants you can have mine for 50p less! Just kidding, I've already found a home for mine assuming I do take the D200 plunge.
