Anyone want to flog their compact?

Sorry if this type of post is illegal, but its a question really.

I have a Pentax S4 and want to use it underwater on my next diving trip in December but unfortunatly, they only make a housing for the S4i and not the S4. So I really need to swop over mine for another decent digi compact that has a housing available for it.

Any ideas gants?

I was going to take the D70 but changed my mind upon finding out that the housing and strobes would be circa £3k

Going on this beauty for £695 all in and I mean all in. Don't think I even need to take a wallet!

I have dived a lot and am now Padi Rescue and have always wanted to shoot underwater but the £3k+ for a D70 set up is slightly beyond me.

I have been looking at a 2nd hand Sea and Sea Motormarine 11ex with strobe and have found one on flebay for £100 (current bid

Not sure if these are any good though.

I am also thinking of getting a video kit. I will be buying a Sony DCR-HC90e as soon as they drop below £400 and have mailed Ikelite in the USA where a housing for that vidcam is $695 with no tax!! (+shipping)

Diddy, that really would be a godsend if you would loan me your kit.

I think it would be silly to buy film kit like that now but I would love to borrow it from you if I don't get the MM11 or the vidoe housing.


Any comments from fellow diver/photogs would be wolcomed.

Anyone who wants to come with me would be welcomed too. (I have no friends who dive and can make this trip, so will be going alone like a looser! )
