Would you buy this camera?

Slowly talking myself into buying a D200, and have someone lined up to buy my D70. Had a look at ebay to see what D70 bodies are going for, and there was only one there.

Anyway to cut a long story short - this must qualify as one of the oddest listings i've seen on ebay,

I believe what has happened there is that the seller has hotlinked to someone else's picture of the D70. The picture owner has got the hump and replaced it with something a little more.....umm....err....varied?

Still a body only for 800 notes if it sells mine is up next!

Of course now that you say it, it's obvious, I feel a fool for not working that out myself!

As for the £800 - that's a bit optimistic I think. £350 with no bids was the more worrying thing for me I think, i had hoped it was worth a little bit more than that.

£800!!?? I bought my D70 with the kit lens for £750 new 6 months ago so i think they are being a tad optimistic with that buy it now price...

There are D70's with the 18-70mm kit lens on ebay going for £500-600ish, so i would expect a body to go for around £400-500ish.

ETA...not hopefully these will link, here's a couple of ended D70 bodies on ebay, one went for £455, the other for £490.
