From DV camera to DVD - help!
Discussion
Firstly you need a firewire connection on your PC. Easy done by buying a firewire card for nowt.
Next, you need to import your video. Windows Movie Maker works a treat if your on a budget, otherwise Adobe Premier is great (but not cheap).
Next you need to author the DVDs. Export your edited video from Windows Movie Maker into AVI DV format (same in Premier), and use either Nero to convert the video to DVD VOB MPEG2 files or better still, use Adobe DVD Encore to create some really neat menus, and all sorts for your DVD creation. Again it's not cheap but I bought this and it's worth the money!
Also, be very very patient as authoring can take a long time!
