More girlfriend experimentation!

Hello all!

I've been playing around with my SLR and girlfriend again! This time it's a little more B&W but using a mirror as the point of focus. Since I don't have a speedlight yet, I had to use some tissue paper to dull the flash enough. I also Photoshopped the final copy and softened the background a little to focus more on my girlfriends face.

Please let me know what you think....I've still got a lot to learn!

I liked this so much, I've had a nice big 7x5 print done of this


Edited so there is only one version now. Maybe it'll help you all concentrate on the composition!!!

When I post my first attempt at decent pics, remind me to take photos of inanimate objects .

A bit less blur on the background for me, It's actually a bit too distracting. My eyes keep trying to focus! Or am I just wierd?

Hmmmmm.....your probably right. I'll try reducing the softness slightly and update the pic tomorrow evening. Ta!
