Anyone recommend good digital camera for under £200?
Discussion
For all you camera buffs..
Looking to buy a digital camera for under £200... Needs to be a 'point and shoot' type as its a present for the other half...
I know absolutely nothing about them aside from what megapixels and memory mean...can anyone make any good recommendations?..
Thoughts appreciated....

Sony are great cameras, partly due to the Carl Zeiss lenses, but you are stuck with Sony Memory sticks.
Pentax Optio's produce a good quality image.
Look for the best 'optical zoom' rather than digital zoom!

canon A520 plus a 1gig card will be under £200.
I've just ordered an A520 for my parents off ebuyer.com and it cost 'bout £135 inc vat. They sell 1gig SD cards too (from about £35) and you'll also need rechargeable batteries. They sell these too, i went for energiser charger and 4x 2500mAh batteries for a tenner. Total cost around £185 including delivery. Not bad for what is apparently a very good point and shoot camera. dpreview.com is a good site for camera reviews if you're thinking about any other cameras.
