I've got premiere for editing video which is obviously great.
However, once you've stiched a bunch of movie files together and done the effects etc, you want to put it onto a DVD.

Thing is I'd like a menu + submenus and a bunch of music files on there too that you can play. Anyone got any recommendations?

I ahve Nero but it seems a bit limited, Adobe Encore seems like the obvious choice but at nearly 300 quid I'd like to be sure it's the only real option?

I have a similar question.

If I have a bunch of VOB files that I have ripped using DVD Decryptor, what is the best app for burning a DVD copy from them?

I have Encore DVD and it's interface is a blimmin' nightmare. I'm sure there are other progs out there that are easier to use.

I use Encore for everything. It works just fine for me. However, I also use Adobe Premier Pro for NLE and so the interface is no great mystery.

However, according to a lot of other "prosumers", this software is worth a look:

You could try.

ULead Movie Factory 2, creates menus and submenus, screen and backdrops for your movies, then converts it to DVD .Vob files and also burns it to DVD all in one go. Doesn't handle widescreen AVI format though, to use it on widescreen you need to convert your AVI to MPEG2 widescreen format using another tool like Cucusoft's AVI to MPEG/DVD convertor.
