Finally got to see the colour of the new motor
Discussion
Re the sodium thread...
... sun finally came out so discovered that the Nazi staff car is in fact silver, not white.
(with apologies to all those that can take pics of cars... I obviously can't - in fact I seem to have cut it's head off).
..and after extensive reading I can confirm that being a BMW it doesn't have indicators, the fog lights are set to be continually on, and it is strongly advised that when approching two lanes of merging traffic, the driver should 'merge' no more than 3 metres from the start of the cones.
On the plus side... the last time I had one of these, I ended up in every car mag threatening to sue BMW and they gave me loads of money to shut up - oh, and the widescreen TV now has digital

Nice colour. And are they really gods gift to drifters?
Well I'm no sideways hero like Tiff - but here's a short vid of my last M3 at Brunters.

I got through FIVE tyres on this day (don't ask).
I then went on to do a training day at Enstone, and the 'tutor' (read nutter) kept my M3 in a continual doughnut for about 30 seconds (more new back tryes)
In short - probably - but I wouldn't try it on the Queens highway... m'lud.

You sold the RS6 Steve?
Phill
Yep. Reasons:
I've been putting so many miles on (16k in the past 4 months) that the car would have been worth about £3.35 if I sold it without a warranty. Decided to get out now - also because there is a new RS6 on the horizon. It also developed some really anoying intermittant electrical problems - that never seemed to get fixed. (Brake failure warning lights when the brakes were fine etc)
Beemer dealer did me a great trade in and discount on the M3, so I thought I'd live with that until my Britcar(s) are due.
I still maintain the RS6 is the quickest way to transport a wardrobe - but you need deep pockets as depreciation is high.

I was reading your "blog" and you were certainly putting some miles on it.
Impressive beast but I still prefer the look of the RS4 Avant as it just looks so agressive.
A couple of my old work collegues had M3's I hope you don't have a "Friday afternoon" car like they did.
Faults on the first M3 - New bottom end, new clutch, 2 new SMG Gearbox's (under 30k on the clock)
Fault on the second M3 - Complete new Sat Nav system within 1 month of rolling off the production line!
Not very impressive for a 50k car!

Interesting video and it's a bugger that BMW are such ar%&h$%es. The M3 is a sports car so it should live on a track!!!
However your video has to have one of the very worst video soundtracks ever!!! Was it the demo button on your electric keyboard?!!?
