I know it's not a particularly great photo, but still, which of the two do you think looks better? Full colour or partially colour?

or are both ?

Probably number two, but it would far better if you resized to 750px wide before posting.

Don't like the juxtaposition of people and car; it's either a car shot spoiled by people or a people shot spoiled by car. But then I think the Sagaris is pig-ugly anyway

Personally, I don't think they do work, and doubt they will due to; a) the car being too light a colour, and b) because of the three people blocking full view of the car.

It may be an idea to lose colour on all but the car and a selected few people in front of the car?!

How about just spot colour on the telephone box, after all it's a design classic

The only reason I like it is because just about every single person in that picture is looking at the car. Other than that I know it's not too good. I'll remember to resize for next time

Thats bloody clever mate

The origional is better in b&w IMO as the busses distract in the background a bit too much.

Well, the most difficult bit is finding a pic of a sagaris taken from roughly the same angle as the one in the original, and that fits in context with the photo

Once you've done that, cut it out and layer it over the original, feathering in the shadows.

Then clone over the unwanted people with their surroundings. You'll notice that some of the people on the pavement up the top (that were behind the heads of the pedestrians on the crossing)have the same legs as one another! Also touch up in the same way the bits of the original car that stuck out from underneath the new layer. I could have spent more time on it - its still a bit rough round the edges.
