I have a rather nice camcorder, but it doesn't do AV in for my bullet cam. So rather than buy another camcorder, I thought about using a DVR (portable hard drive) instead.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I looked at the Archos AV7100; 100Gig with 7" screen.
which seems pretty fancy and is ideal for watching films on a plane for example, but its pretty large for carrying round on a motorbike.

goodmans do one, but its .. goodmans.

any other personal recomendations?

In exactly the same situation myself, ordered a bullet cam and have a DV camcorder that does not have Av in.

Looked at the Archos with the 7" screen but the sheer bulk put me off.

The Av520 (?) model looked like a good deal at about £300 for the 60gb model, small enough to fit in the pocket when on a bike as well.

Both of the archos systems seem to require a seperate box to "convert" the AV cable to their own connection, thus making it even bulkier.
However the goodmans has a correct AV in socket.
