For those of you with young kids, you'll know it is incredibly difficult to go somewhere with the intention of taking photos AND keeping the kids occupied at the same time (as well as preventing them being run over, eaten by a wild animal or falling off something) whilst looking through the viewfinder.

So, has anyone got thoughts of some good places to go with good photo opportunities that are also safe for the kids and where they don't need constant supervision? I'm in Herts so ideally places in around London, home counties, Northants, Cambridgeshire would be great.

Depends on whether you want them to come home with you or go via the hospital.

There are plenty of bits where you get out, but the main bit is driving through the park.

You get little monkeys that sit on your car and are good at removing bits from it too.

I took this at Marwell a couple of weeks ago, however it can be quite difficult to get close up due to the size of most enclosures.
