This is strange.

A mate wants me to work (photoshop) on a pic of his cat - he's sent it to me and I can't view it (using any prog on my puter) yet he sent it to someone else and they can!

I have scanned it for viruses etc... but have no idea why I can't see it.

I've uploaded to my webspace - can any of you download it and see if you can see it?

If you can, can you save it as a jpg (don't compress it please) and e mail it to me so I can work on it? (Steve at SteveCarter.co.uk)

If you can't - have you any idea why I can't see it and someone else can?

right click/'save target as' to download from >> www.stevecarter.com/Guinness.tif (1.4 mb)

(notice... one F in Tiff!)

Thanks for any help.

It won't open on my machine with anything.

I've tried:

1) Microsoft RAW Viewer
2) Microsoft Photo Editor
3) Adobe Photoshop Elements
4) Microsoft Paint
5) Windows Picture Viewer

and it didn't open. Sorry... why not try and get the image file in another format? BMP maybe...

I know you've solved it, but try changing the file extension from tif to jpg on the original, as tif it would not open with cs2, but after changing the file extension it would
