Now don't all laugh you semi-pro guys.....

But, I use iPhoto to organize my photos and in iLife 06, the 'adjust' facility for exposure/brightness/levels etc., seems to work pretty well.

So, the question is, is iPhoto OK for adjusting levels on RAW images?

And, presumably, on a levels histogram, an area of the graph without any information is presumably under/over exposed?

I thought is was a fair post, maybe no one uses iPhoto around here......

Anyway, for those who have used earlier versions I'd strongly recommend the new version, iLive 06.
The difference in speed of handling quanting of images and the new facilities are fantastic. Its almost like Aperture lite.

Hello fellow iPhoto user

I use the levels to play with jpeg images, but not RAW. I've found that if I try to manipulate a RAW image, that in many cases it will automatically convert it to jpeg.

Can you not get hold of a copy of Photoshop (much better!)?
