Sony DSC R1 - anyone got one?

[ehasler]

Has anyone got one of these?

It looks like it takes great quality images (based on same sensor as Nikon D2X apparently!), has some nifty features (waist level finder LCD screen) and is smaller, lighter and simpler than a DSLR.

I've decided to sell my Leica D-Lux 2 as I wasn't using it, and want something in between my pocket-sized IXUS and my DSLR for when I want decent quality images but don't want to lug around tons of gear. This looks like it's going to be ideal, but it would be useful to hear from anyone who's used one already.

Reichmann of Luminous Landscape uses one quite frequently. I think he has reviewed it and made other comments. Seems to like it.
