Sitting comfortably?

I know some here have been following my build blog (still trying to work out if it's sadism or masochism). Anyway, it's three months (almost to the day) since I posted my blog, and some may be interested in why I am (a) solvent (b) driving (c) breathing (d) bothering.

No need to respond to this or the last post... but if I peg out in the meantime - take this self build as a warning!

I burst out laughing at the blast of Hallelujah all over the track I was listening to (Money - Pink Floyd)

I'm surprised you recognised the 1970's Israeli entry in the Eurovision Song Contest...

I'm very jealous.

Perfect house, perfect location.

You don't need any, ahem, "Site security", do you?

Keep the faith matey - it looks stunning and I'm looking/reading in awe at how well you are doing after seeing some of those "grand design" programmes on TV go totally pear shaped!

I've got this bookmarked Steve, been reading with intrest.

Once you move up there be careful not to go all native and put yourself in a ditch after one too many "wee drams".

Steve,

Had a look at your trials and tribulations on the build. Sounds like fun...

I did however take a double take on the first picture - something about it jogged my memory to a trip we did round the coast of Scotland in September.

We must have stopped above your house as I've got some overlooking the loch..

That's the place! Good roads up there eh? (and by the looks of it you had some decent weather too).

Excellent roads - 3000 miles round the coast and we only had one day of rain (on Skye which was par for the course)
