Somewhere in here is a picture - I think - but I can't qute find one that pleases me. So I'm throwing it to the PH Photoshop jackals to see what they can do with it... anything goes and I'll be fascinated to see what you can make of it:

Not bad at all; I was expecting to find a Ferrari parked in my field!

Can't see anything myself.

Nearly, but not quite.

That large bough or trunk pointing at the cow seems to stuff the perspective somehow.

Unless you make it a 'If Dali took photos ....' sort of theme and have the components floating about - perhaps the cow in the sky somewhere? - and distort the trees.

But I don't think that was the concept you were hoping to tease out of the image.

It has a very paint like quality to it, it just doesn't look real to me

I'd boost the definition in the clouds using Highlight/Shadow and move the cow further forward in the picture. Have you considered another animal with a bit more colour in it such as a deer or llama (I'm assuming this is an NZ photo so they would be just as appropriate). Don't forget to add a shadow to your chosen animal too !

Possibly add more than one animal to the image, three deer - a buck and a couple of does might be good ?

I'v just realised why I wanted to crop the image and put an animal more in the foreground - there's a strong diagonal line from bottom left to middle right that draws your eye out of the image so it needs beaking up or removing. I think Drea's monochrome and cy88's reflection pictures do this quite effectively.
