Nice Cityscape required..
Discussion
Afternoon all..
Trying to find some nice cityscapes that I can use with the rasterbator for our new flat..
Anyone got anything that I could use? Or could point me in the right direction to find the right image?
Cheers folks..

this is the only good one i have at the moment:
but i guess you are really looking for stuff more like this:
(thats just a quick google search for new york). the only problem with google searches is that the pics are generally quite small.
if you want to look at some of my other pics feel free here:
www.chrisharper.plus.com
and i can provide higher res images if you want.

A few from when I got the camera. Not quite cityscapes, but whats a chap to do.
Very nice indeed.
I was about to ask if I was right in thinking that was Chester Town Hall (I did an exhibition there years ago) then saw the image titles when I replied
The sky looks great in that one, did you do anything to it afterwards or is that how it came out? Either way, gimme a clue as to what you did/settings please!
The Seacat one is nice too, whereabouts did you take the photo from (I'm not quite sure where it docks to my shame as I'm only up the road in Crosby)? Is it one of the areas that they've stopped people wandering around due to 'terrorism'? I recall the fishermen being very displeased with MDHC over that a while back.

No idea what I'm doing in photoshop, so I just crop them. They are as they come out of the camera. I've not had it that long, and am still messing around with it, hence the 83,000 pictures I end up deleting cos they are awful!
It was Chester, and the Docks are on t'other side of the water, near Bidston Tip! If you can picture where the M56 ends at the roundabout, in the docks, it's just on that roundabout.

Glad it's not just me that ends up deleting loads but you've got some nice ones there. The cropping to that aspect ratio gives it a nice feel, if the colours/lights were just a bit richer on the Liverpool weaterfront one it'd make an absolutely cracking shot to hang on the wall but evan as is, much better than anything I've done yet!

I'm sure it could be done in PSP, but you could probably google and get far better shots. It was a pretty crappy night, and had to leave the shutter open for a bit longer than I would have liked, but there ya go!
