Oh Dear What camera do you have, and lenses, and how often do you change them? I take it the blower isnt helping?

To be fair, I do have a couple of bits on the sensor that the blower can't get off so just ordered an Arctic Butterfly (what a name!).

Second one down.

I have an old loo brush I could send you... sure it'd be fine.

Ooh ooh, can I have the loo brush?? I need a trusty weapon to defend myself on these forums.

A good swirl around an unflushed bog first, and I'll be all set!

Don't talk to me about dust

My 2 week old 5D is covered in the stuff - it's like a bloody vacuum

My rocket blower isn't moving a few 'blobs' so it looks like I'm going to have to buy one of those 'most expensive brushes in the whole wide world...ever!'.

Hmm, my 18-month-old D70 has been round the world, had thousands of lens changes and I've only had to blow dust out of it twice. Are you switching yours off and tilting it down when you change lenses?

It woudnt matter.

All SLR's suffer from dust penetration. Thats part and parcel of owning an SLR. But as I understand it (with my limted knowlege, but after a fair bit of reading) there is no model of digital camera in existance (current or previous) which suffers as badly as the 5D when it comes to dust. Its a dust vaccum, like he said.
