First attempts so be gentle...

A not very good night-time shot. From the hotel window so little chance of composition changes but just having a play with longer shutter speeds really.

I'm more pleased with this one though. Central vestibule at the old Woolwich Polytechnic (Now a Council Office) looking up. +0.3EV IIRC otherwise the surround was coming out way underexposed but the lights do then overexpose of course. Solutions to something like that? Change the metering settings perhaps? Levels tweaked using PSP's autofix.

Yup, could do with a little bit of a trim to make it central, but thumbs up.

Its a great shot though. The circle is supposed to be the most powerful symbol, which draws the eye more than any other. Its mesmirising (especially this early on a saturday morning)
