is an 8 incher too big?
Discussion
I was at a conference last year and an animation and editing company had one of these on their stand. After being there for a few mins the guy came over and asked if i was impressed with the demo, or just the screen. I did admit it was a bit of both, he said that was ok most people were the same.
Well done well worth it.

I have the 23" version (having cancelled an order for the 30" due to problems with the earlier screens). To be honest, 90% of the time I find it too bright. Lovely screens though...

Thank you! I've just got a new car, there's no way I can afford a new monitor

turn the brightness down then! i think you could use this outside on a bright sunny day without too many problems. i just subscribed to that backrounds site, there is some cool stuff on there, although most of them weren't as good as I was hoping. Still worth it though I reckon, thanks for pointing it out.
