I am trying to burn some motorsport mpeg movies on my PC to a DVD, for a nephew.

I have tried doing this with the 'copy file to disc' on WindowsXP. But it won't play on my SONY DVD player which plays just about every type of format there is.

Are there any freeware applications I can download to do this? Or am I looking at a trip to PCWorld?

Thanks

When this question is asked, posters usually recommend dvdsanta

www.dvdsanta.com/

I haven't tried it so can't comment on how good/easy it is

Thanks for the link Sparky

Have tried it out, and for some reason the playback stutters. Also the picture and sound go out of sync

So whilst watching playback you have to press FForward and then play again, to skip it back from its stuttering/jittery picture & sound.

Does anyone have any idea what causes this?

Hijacking this one!!! What's the standard recommendation for Video Editing, so that it saves as MPEG/AVI etc, I have tried a trial version of Video Edit Magic, which seem to tick all the editing boxes, except for the Save File Types, as I can't get the files to play on my DVD Player!
