£60. (Bare that in mind)

It works, make no bones about it, my sensor is spotless.

£60! For a brush that spins and must have cost all of £5 to produce! Not a happy bunny to be taken for a mug, but then again, my sensor is cleaner than yours

I'm assuming they put those two brush covers in to bulk up the package so you don't feel quite so ripped off.

Martin.

Totally agree with you.

Frequently travel abroad, so this is the only real option for me and it is fantastic, but £60 for a spinny brush is a little over the top.

Still give it a good cleaning with pec-pads now and again and before special jobs, but the Arctic butterfly is great when out and about.

The Luminous Landscape review sees the price as reasonable for the technology involved. I guess for a busy Pro regularly travelling it is.

Don't you think that lots of dust problems are actually caused by over cleaning ?

Granted, ultimately you will get dust in there, but . . . why do some people have so many problems ?

I think the problem might be relative to the amount one changes lenses. I know on my recent trip to Jerez that I was changing lenses 40-50 times a day at least.

Been looking at buying some sensor swab things and cleaning fluid (about $35), but the only international shipping option they give is $65! Is there any other way to get the stuff sent over? I would email them but thought I'd find out how anyone else got hold of this stuff first.

Edited to add, don't worry, just found it on Warehouse Express

The other thing I've found is the 1D is much more of a dust hoover than the 10D. Different sensor technology making the 1D generate more static maybe?

Maybe Phil, but the 1D is twice as good as the 20D.

The 10D is amusingly slow compared with the 1DmkII. 10D can still produce some great images though, just not as many per second

I bought one of these, just tried it on my 1D and it's the cleanest it's ever been! I've tried most cleaning methods but this seems to be by far the easiest/best.

And at 3 times the price, it should be

As for the price of the brush, how much would a couple of "professional" cleans cost?

I should think it will pay for itself pretty quickly.

Yeah, but you've got more money than the rest of us put together, Phil!
