Pics from Aberdeenshire dial up beware

Thanks all.
I did tweak them each a bit, but I'm definitely an amateur at this post-processing business. So all tips gladly received.
Bob, re. the road shot, I probably take that shot 10 times each time I go there and I've never really got the shot. Probably the best effort was one of my first - film though, so I'll need to scan it in. It was done v soon after the tarmac was laid and the road was very very black.

tertius...I hope you don't mind me fiddling with your image, but pylons/cables etc. are my pet hate.
Martin.
I don't mind at all.
And whilst I see where you are going I'm not totally sure which I prefer. I do feel that the cable marching away adds something to the shot.
NB I've "just" re-sized and reposted all the images so they are all naturally 750 pixels wide with a border. It took me a while so if there was some odd behaviour there, that's why.
Now if someone would like to fix the exposure on that effin cow ...

Ditto.
Personally I like the height that the telegraph poles offer to the shot and they are clearly part of the composition rather than some gratuitous monstrosity that simply could not be avoided. A row of electricity pylons marching across the field would have been unacceptable. Likewise a windfarm.
But some old looking telegraph poles add perspective and are a metaphor for the relative remoteness of the location. They complement the road - two developments of recent times in a landscape that could otherwise be timeless.
(Except that the fields look rather managed. And they would probably have been forests not so long ago. Oh well, it's the idea that counts ...)

Tertius,
Where about in Aberdeenshire did you take them?
Shots 1. 2. 3. 7. 8. 9. (basically dawn, trees and sheep) were taken on my father in laws farm near Old Meldrum
Shots 4. and 5. were taken on a cousins farm near Edzell
Shot 6. is the Tap o Noth, taken from the Clatt-Rhynie road
Shot 10. (highland cow) was taken on another cousins farm, also near Meldrum

I see that they are farmed free range in Scotland.
