Here's some of my photos from my recent few weeks in NZ. Not too many scenery shots as we were there for a wedding...

Any comments would be appreciated!

Love the stairs and the couple on the beach straight after it.

Nice pics. Makes me miss New Zealand, was out there for a month late last year. Even though it was Winter, it was still amazing, would love to go back. Were you on South Island?

Just the north island - the wedding we were going to was in Auckland so we spent most of our time there. We dd manage a few days to Lake Taupo and the bay of islands though.

Aaah, I spent only a couple of days on North Island to see relatives. Spent the rest of the time around Christchurch and the rest of South Island. It's an amazing place. Only thing I didn't like was the plane flight! Stopped in Singapore for a few days on the way there, though.

I'm not a great photographer, so please accept this as constructive criticism as it is something I often get wrong. On a lot of the landscape photos, the horizon doesn't look 'horizontal' and I've been told that this is a big no-no. Apart from that, great photos.

I know - I keep doing it and then forget to straighten the pics afterwards! My pics always seem to tilt the same way so perhaps I'm just bent...

Hi

Stairs is good, but a bit corny in a simpoesque kind of way... I like the couple on the beach kind shot in concept but I reckon the people being off centre would have produced a more striking image... My favourite is the first one of the river. I like the natural tones and straight forward, balanced composition.
