problems with a D5 Konica

Help this is getting annoying. What have I done wrong.

I have noticed when taking pics on the odd occashion that the camera locks up and does not take a pic. just leaves a black picture. was happening on the odd occashion now almost every time.

I have checked the meory cards which it does the same on both. and changed the batterie. same again.
have you come across this and should I take it back to the shop

or as I am new to SLR cameras what have I doen wrong

Take the lens cap off.

Sorry, honestly try another memory card, make sure no pins in the camera are bent, have a look see if theres any firmware updates too. make sure theres no problem with the electrical contacts to the lens - try more than one lens.

if all that fails its probably broke, is it still under warrenty?

I have checked the lens, memory cards batt etc.. but no go. Bugger I hope they don't want it for long as I needed it this weekend
