Once again these were taken using my 20D and 70-300mm IS USM and for the paddock shots i used my 17-85mm IS USM. They have simply been cropped and re-sized in photoshop.

The rest of the shots can be seen here - http://oliverwhittaker6200.fotopic.ne

Any feedback most welcome.
Thanks,
Oliver

Those Murci GTs are pure evil...

You've done well, but next time I think you should experiment more with some longer shutter speeds and some more varied composition. If you shoot a couple of laps with a fast shutter, you gaurantee that you'll get some shots, then the rest of the time you can just go crazy, and see what works.

Very good shots there,
if you don't mind me asking, what are the fist two about?

Mainly just a bit more abstract stuff with the first 2 shots. A friend did some similar shots at the LMES last year, so i wanted to try it for myself and see how good the shots would be, although i think maybe using a flash would have made the car stand out a bit more, and also make the colour look a little more accurate, but i would have needed an external flash, otherwise i would have got bounce back off the wheel rim itself. I will be doing a bit more experimental stuff at Donington in a week or so.

The Murci GT was making a lovely sound buzzing around the circuit, seemed to be extremely quick on the straights, but a little bit slower on the corners when compared to the likes of the F430's and DBR9's.

Thanks for the tips as well, i'll give them a try when im at the track next time
