I'm at Goodwood this weekend for a trackday with some friends and said I'd take my camera along. I've never been hete before. Any hints to good circuit positions for photography. Any places to avoid?

Paddock can be interesting as well as the viewing are over the pit lane.

Chicane and pit straight are nice from either side but better panning backgrounds from the pit side. You can go through the little gate to be head-on in the chicane.
The entry that the driving school use to get on the circuit near the chicane can let you get some more shots from circuit level.

Woodcote and the run up to the chicane are good from the outside side but the corner itself will require a longish lens for good effect.

You can easily walk round the whole thing but allow plenty time if you're stopping off, occasionally the gates are open to drive round but not often.
Remember and post results!
