Not very original I know...

I took dozens of photos over a period of hours, many quite a bit better than this one (focal point, lighting, etc) but the only realistic looking house was this one. Getting the roof not to slope, bend, or curve, and the overhang of the eve looing right took ages, and I couldnt recreate the house without the faults mentioned above no matter how hard I tried.
When working closely with a subject, its amazing how many 'perfect' photos you can take, only to realise when viewing them all on the PC that they are far from perfect, and that they all have (literally) well over over half a dozen flaws.
My photoshop skills have improved a little though

What I'd like to know is how you managed to get 3 £20 notes in one place without being pounced on by Gordon Brown...
Martin.
They were hidden in my light tent

Very imaginative !! hope you have a model release from her maj .
If I knew how, id have made a paper money dog and tree, which would have finished off the shot nicely.

the onyl problem would be copyright. you don't down the copyright to the notes so technically you have no right to photograph them.

I once enquired about running an ad featuring a reprint of money which would not only be downsized, but partially concealed. The publishing house explained they didnt and owuldnt reprint currency. My theory is that with either distortion or concealment, money can be reprinted without problems. Laws differ from country to country though, same with stock/publishing houses.
I made up some £20 notes for my girlfriend neice to use in her barbie till the other day, and my canon scanner refused to scan it
So I photographed it instead and printed it off at low resolution. Sorry, I dont really have a point I know...UKBob said:
At 60mm(ish), what apperture would be needed to keep the entire house in focus?

The key thing is that consent is needed
iii) for all possible reproductions, including modified or distorted reproductions.
So, you need consent to put that photo up on here I'm afraid, although yours satisfies conditions 3,4 and 5, you don't satisfy 6, and hence, just by publishing it on here you are committing a criminal offence I'm afraid

I wonder how many of these images are illegal. None of them have met requirement 6, which states that "specimen" must be placed across the note in big black bold letters.

Sorry Bob, but that's awful!
Praps it would look better/more realistic if I gobbed into the rubber first?
