My wedding is quickly approaching (mid september) and we've yet to appoint a photographer. We've seen a few local books but not been overly impressed. Does anyone have any recommendations for a modern, posed/arranged and reportage style photographer? The wedding is also to be in Dijon, France, so the photographer will need to be prepared to travel. Thanks.

Good luck mate. I am doing the same thing at the moment for my wedding in August. This site has a pretty active Wedding forum so you might want to try posting there?

WOW - If I was getting married I'd probably use Dave as well.

Really good photos and I like the fact the he states that they blend into the background. I've been to many weddings where it seems like a film is being produced with the photographers the directors.

The best photos are taken when the subject is relaxed and at ease.
(which is not easy on a normal day - let alone a wedding day !)

Perhaps he should add a Pistonheads box to his "how you found us" drop down list !

Pete tells me you have spoken to him today, I hope you like the stuff we are sending you.

Here's one that I made earlier (in France)

Great shot. I just can't help thinking: "Remember guys: Don't light up until the fat lady sings."

You might ask david

Been in the game for a while, and is a bit of perfectionist, and teaches wedding photography courses in London. Not too expensive either.
