Hi from a new member of the Photography forum -some pics

[autofocus]

Hello to you all,

I have been a member of Pistonheads for a while now, but have only just started reading through the Photography forum.
I am an amateur photographer who has recently made the switch from a Canon EOS300V film camera to a brand new Olympus E-500 Digital SLR. My main passion is motorsport and car photography although I do occasionally take pictures of other things that catch my eye.

Here are some examples of my recent work.

Ferrari F40 with reflection of the Brooklands museum.

Aston Martin on track at Donington Park.

Whitby Abbey, North Yorkshire.

A tree near home with a sunset in the background.

a Penguin resting - taken at Twycross Zoo, Leicestershire

I enjoy taking good photos, but I also quite enjoy experimenting with both Adobe Photoshop CS and Corel Paint Shop Pro X to further enhance the photos I take.

Any comments from members here will be more than welcome.

Regards

Tim

Good stuff, Tim.
I particularly like the sunset - beautiful colours in that one! The reflection on the F40 wing is a good idea but to me it doesn't quite work. It gets too busy with the F40-lettering and the slats in the bodywork....
