Wish I'd gone now, it was in my diary but couldn't egt out of bed on Sunday early enough. Lovely shots, especially like the eurofighter in silohette (5469). I've never taken any pictures at airshows, how difficult is it to capture them, I guess they're going relatively quickly, especially the bonkers ones near the ground, what sort of shutter speeds are you using?

Shutter speeds was everything from 125th through 1000th / sec. Obviously depending upon what was in the frame at the time.
If it had a prop I was going for the slower speeds to try and get some movement in the props - the jets you don't really have that much choice.

Exposure was the greatest challenge - the planes were doing some great stuff but into the sunlight so no detail just shadows and of course with big bright skies and a relatively small dark subject causes the camera meter to get it all wrong. Switch the metering to centre weighted and it seemed to work quite well if the subject was in the centre of the frame.
