If I chose to manually over/under expose be say one 'stop' on the apature, this will let in (I believe) either half or twice the amount of light than the previous setting.

OK, now if I choose to under/over expose using the exposure composition feature I can go +/- in multiples of 0.3EV.

How may EV would be equal to going up or down to the next f number.
