Sandisk serial numbers are unique to each card.

I'm sorry to be so blunt but why on Earth did you think that cards from Ebay at 'too good to be true' prices would be genuine ?

purchased there because of

a, this www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=283639&f=109&h=0

and b, the price I paid was what I would expect to pay for a real one imported.. not a fake @ £15..

Just to add, it doesn't help you I know but I find that www.mymemory.co.uk is now the same price as hong kong sellers with the added bonus of not being a hong kong seller...

Hello ,

Thank you for contacting Asia Sandisk Technical Support.

All Sandisk products have their unique Serial number either on the side or
back of the card. If it does not show no where, then that is not Sandisk
product. Also, I suggest you to purchase Sandisk product from our
distributor in the future.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,
Christy

Hello Simon,

Thank you for contacting SanDisk Technical Support. They are genuine product codes, to be 100% certain you can send pictures of the cards.

Sincerely,

hmm... lol..
I don't have a card reader to test the speed .. going to take some photos. Seller has not replied. If they are genuine then happy (ish) but still no box or manual or protective case.. case doesn't exactly weigh a tonne does it!.

Real cards.

Just got the all clear from sandisk.

The numbers are product ID's NOT serial numbers. So are not expected to be unique on each card.

Thought it was weird seeing as everyone else was happy with theirs.

.. now... wheres me box! lol..

You still going to leave negative feedback...? (given that you have now confirmed they are genuine).

In that case, I apologise for besmirching Flashman's good name (although I have seen fake cards sold by him which he replaced following complaint, stating that he'd been ripped off by his supplier ) I wonder why Sandisk's customer 'service' folk aren't all singing from the same hymnsheet ?
