Personally I'm very happy with the working distance of 100mm, so I'd probably feel 70mm is too close. But the lens doesn't extend with focusing anymore and they seem to have got rid of push/pull mechanism to switch AF and MF, which is a huge improvement.

8mm is I assume for 1.6 crop cameras only , equivelant of 13mm fisheye on full frame, 10mm on aps-c isnt exactly fisheye.

uh sorry , nope, it'll fit full frame cameras with a 180degree field of view!!!!
