Can't see them getting much lower and it save £100 over the Canon which can go towards a lense.

Any veiws on the stock lense? Am I missing something here?

I've just bought one, but from Dixons - if you have an Egg card, they're doing 10% instant cashback with them this month. Bought the price down to about £335 for me.

The kit lens is pretty much as you'd expect, cheap and cheerful but takes pretty good pics. You're not going to see a massive improvement without spending as much again as the entire kit cost.

WOO HOO, I am now a NIKONIAN (d50). Bought a point and shoot last Autumn and have just felt such a wuss since then! Looking forward to upgrading the lens in the coming months. Anyone care to recommend a 70/300 Tamron?

Sooo looking forward to getting some good shots for the rest of the summer!

The week after I buy mine and it goes down £20 (albeit not from the same retailer.)
