Is it ok to re-charge the battery when it is not completely empty?

Thanks.

I think so, though as long as you charge it from empty when you can. prolongs life of battery so I heard.

And make sure it's not one of the recalled batteries.

In fact .... I'm still waiting for them to send me some info on that.

I think this is left over advice more usually attached to Ni-Cad batteries. Lithium ion batteries, like the D50's, actually prefer being charged early and often. In fact their life is not only dictated by the number of charges but also by the actual age of the battery.

As for the recall, info can be found here.

Hmm I thought that it was the other way around, and that Li-ion batteries were limited by number of charges. That's why it won't hurt battery life to do partial charges, but will harm the overall battery lifespan.

Good site, it clarifies a lot about lithium ion batteries.
