Guess the car - Prize: Free tickets to Motor Show

Having won some complimentary tickets from Ted for the Motorshow, I find myself unable to use them due to my required presence in another continent .

So, seeing as no-one in my office is in the UK next week, the first person who wants them and can correctly identify the car in the following pic can have them.... (they're valid for Mon to Fri next week).

Well, I've seen that car before, but I can't quite place what it is...

Not that the prize would do me any good, as I'm sure I'm stuck on this continent, at least for next week...

Edited to add that it would also cost me $1800 in airfare...

It's definately American... it's just a matter of which car it was. I'm guessing it falls in the range of 1950-1965.
