A few more from Shuttleworth last Saturday. I really like the fact that they fly all the aircraft in the collection, though it has to be very calm air before they get the Bleriot out !

Some more dodgy panning at takeoff from me but considerably helped by Smart Sharpen in CS2:

Wonderful sound from the Merlin engine.

I'm trying to get my head around what the lighting was like in these shots... In the first, it looks like one used a giant flash unit. In the second, I'm not sure how one can get light on the bottom of an aircraft? :scatchchin:

Evening Display I suspect. Shuttleworth runs them regularly.

The flight line's fantastically angled with regards to the sun as well. I keep meaning to get to an evening display but here's a couple during the Spring Display in the daytime of the same Sea () Hurricane

Yep, evening display Flying started at 7pm and finished at 9pm, Hurricane was the last one up a few minutes before sunset. Just realised I've got the top of a Magister's screen in the takeoff shot and failed to crop it out. Cardinal sin !!
