British Motor Show photos *56k warning!*
Discussion
Well here are my pics from Tuesday. I can't say I'm 100% happy with them but some turned quite nice imo. Also, are there any good books on how to modify photos in Photoshop, changing the contrast right, using the curve tool, and things like that? Most of my pictures came out too dark. I tried my best to make them better in photoshop but I don't know a lot about it apart from Auto Levels/Colour/Contrast and some other basic things.
Any suggestions on how to improve them are welcome. I used the 18-55 that came with my 20D.

Actually the photos now seem a little overexposed, but aside from that the shots are very well done from a technical standpoint. However, most of them tend to be lacking a unique composition.
While anyone with a camera can take shots of cars to look at later, it takes a lot more creativity to uniquely capture a car in a way that hasn't been already done thousands of times before. A lot of that is position. If you shoot from eye level, you have a very typical viewpoint. If you're viewing something extremely close, or from an obscure angle, it will make the cars much more interesting. I saw that in a few shots, but not the majority.
