Colour Management - again!!!
Discussion
So, those of you who are in the know about this colour "mangement" [sic]...
Eye One is doing a great job on my display. Got the profile for my printer too.
Followed instructions carefully. Now when I print, the colour balance seems correct.
GOOD!!
Except that,
, the prints all come out a significant margin lighter than before.
Now it could be that the profile I got is just plain wrong - that thought hadn't escaped me. I notice that the screen preview of the print is also lighter than the normal image on screen.
Am I missing something - as I say, I followed the distructions - and you can't really go wrong, can you?
Is there a simple tweak to encourage a bit more ink to make the prints darker?
Or am I just suffering mange-ment of my colour???

Epson R300 - using same ink/paper combination as for the prints sent off for profiling - not changed and twiddled anything else in Photoshoppe settings or printer properties
