NOTE to everyone, that the deadline will be wednesday 30th August at 12pm lunchtime - and NOT the 31st!

As your newly elected leader, and certified prize winning phtotographer - I hereby declare August's competition open :cutsthetape:

This month we have a double theme of "Flange" and "Camel Toe" !!
So get snapping!!
Photos can be you best of all time (No time constraints)

justkidding - Had you there for a minute didnt I This months theme is really "Our World" with an emotional bias.

Now pay attention 007 (did you really expect a 20 word brief from me?)
"Our World" is to be viewed from the point of an emotional connection to (or appreciation of) the world we live in. Seen through our eyes, the eyes of others, or perhaps from the majestic perspective of a humanity which shares its planet with other inhabitants. Technical works of art are to be avoided. Although, that said, it's quite possible that in the right context they might work.

Lets keep it simple. Im looking for emotion (maybe beauty too) but not just beauty. Editorial snapshots might even work well, if they told the right story. Of course there will be 'marks' for technical achievement, but this need not be a limiting factor. Or even a requirement!!! (who am I to judge anyway)

Possible themes are unlimited: Destruction, love, hatred, war, peace, violence, jealousy, solitude. I'd prefer leave the doors wide open to all types of submissions, but will admit now that I am (sometimes) biased towards tranquillity, or reflective/pondersome states of emotion. Dont get hung up on that point - like all people, I have a diverse range of emotions.

In summary, all submissions must evoke or kindle an emotion which others (ultimately myself as judge) resonate with, and respond to. Ideally one which offers a feeling of connection or appreciation (whether sympathetic or otherwise) towards the world and/or its many inhabitants and/or environments at large. Group action (oooh errr!) might tell a better story than solo shots, but again, dont let that point become a limiting factor.

Good luck, and most of all, enjoy!
If you feel the need to submit any flange themed photos, you know where to send em

Here is my submission. It shows deep regret and disgust. The subjective is Mike Jordan from the BTCC. He broke too late for the old hairpin at Donington this weekend and was pretty damn gutted.
