I've got the same ones (from the same guy too!!!) for mine. Not had much chance to play with them but they aren't bad. You get what you pay for at the end of the day!!

I've got those too. Not bad at all, managed to take some good pics with them. Well worth the money as an intro to macro photography.
Only problem is, I now want a macro lens and extension tubes. Especially when I move at the end of the month and get a house with garden.

V6 GTO, its all your fault!

I just think it would be counterproductive to put an inferior piece of glass at the end of your lens... While I'm all for better UV/Haze filters (since I don't like the idea of scraping rubber blobs off my 300mm f/4, etc etc), it seems like this money could be better contributed toward extension tubes to yield better results. Plus extension tubes will fit any lens, rather than the filter-type that will only fit one thread diameter.

Without a doubt I'd forget those and buy the Jessops extention tubes. Can be used with all your lenses, and once you start useing them it's very addictive...you start looking at the world differently.

Jimothy...go for it!
