Hi all,

Thanks for advice so far. Here are a few of what I think are my best efforts (apologies, think they're a little bigger than 750pixels across), no photoshopping yet on any.

Any comments welcome - composition, camera use, and p-shop suggestions to improve.

Cheers,

Martin

PS - larger images (plus a few others) at this link (go to sub-albums):-

PPS - the Integra, I've just remembered, is with my A75 digital compact. Never mind, I like it!

i like the last two, the sunset one because there are some good warm bronze colours & a nice contrast between the fading light and dark. The last one because .... well, just because.

Anyway, the Orang could have at least smiled for the camera

I'll take #4 in 20x30, please.

Aside from that photo, the others look a bit overexposed. It may do you well to either dial in -1 EV exposure compensation or get a D70

Thanks.

#1 definitely over-exposed...digi-compact on a (very) bright day.
#2 was tricky...didn't want to lose the detail on the car...any suggestions?
#4 I am so chuffed by, and #5 is one of those 'keep snapping and you'll get a good shot soon' pictures...that was about #43 out of about 80-90 pics of Orangs!

So, aside from 4 being spot-on (it feels like a bit of a fluke...took so many on hols, just glad one came out so well), and 1 being over-exposed, what else could I be doing to improve #'s 1, 2, and 3?
