Hi Cheese

I don't know photobucket but these are very very noisy (grainy) is it them that does it to the pics - do they squash them in file size?

Hi
Its because they have been cropped.

You've cropped them? Or Photobucket have?

I've got a photobucket account that I use for hosting and posting and my images never end up noisy. I've uploaded huge pictures without cropping them down and they always show ok. What settings have got on you Photobucket account?

Hi Cheese. You might try turning the flash on, when shooting people outside in the mid day sun. You were certainly close enough in a few shots. Flash fill can help remove the shadows from under peoples eyes.

While many of the shots are very good, it seems like the others could be helped by longer zoom and a tripod, as a lot of the cropping showed minor camera shake. There were also some macro shots spoiled by either camera shake or inaccurate focus. And you might want to get the camera checked out, as I see it occasionally only records one color and leaves the rest black and white

don't blame the archaic camera...

Nah, the non-cropped shots are good regardless.
