£320 from WarehouseExpress. Anyone got one / used one? Have just bought a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 and fancy something wider to go with it...

I've got one and I think it's great for the money.

If you want crazy wide angle stuff the Nikkor 10.5mm Fisheye (i'm assuming you have a nikon) might be a better buy, the 10-20 is possibly more versatile for most people.

No it's for a 350D. Seemed to me to be a good bet as even once you factor in the 1.6x multiplier, it's still decently wide.

I have one on my Canon and really like it. If you get a good copy (some are soft on one side) then they are really sharp and really wide!

You can get 10% off at Jessops.com with this code: CPB10PC

If you are looking for an ultra wide then I would highly recommend this one.

also consider the tokina 12-24 f4 if you can't afford the canon

Thanks.

The Tokina is also very good from what I have heard, longer but not as wide. Depends how wide you want. I figured that if I was buying a wide lens, might as well get the widest I can.

Here is a comparison of the FOV for different lenses:

I bought one for my build blog and it's been the only way to get whole rooms in. You have to be really careful at 10mm as it's pretty wacky, but I've found it pretty sharp and accurate (for the money).

Crikey... is that a sub, a power station or perhaps a long term detainee facility?

Like it. Any chance of the original so I can see the EXIF data?

Anyone need a kidney? I'll trade one for the F-mount version of that lens...

On the subject, anyone got any recommendations for a 10/12mm ish for a 1D MkII N? The Canon's EF-S

The Sigma 10-20 will fit but will cause vignetting as it's designed for an APS-C sensor. The same goes for the Tokina I believe.

For full frame (or 1.3 crop in your case) you could go for the Sigma 12-24, Sigma 14mm or maybe Canon 16-35L if you are feeling flush?

sigma make a 12-24 for ful frame and a 15-30. alternatively you could get a fish eye.

Yeah that's why I discounted the first two

16-35L is attractive but overlaps quite a bit and only gains me 8mm on my 24-105ISL. I'll look at the 12-24. Ta
